Chair Car Services:
For patients confined to a wheelchair this is the most appropriate form of transport. Our chairvans are primarily rear load models, with extended length ramps. We can accomodate most wheelchairs, including electric and bariatric models. Our chairvans are radio dispatched, equipped with real-time GPS tracking, and Magellan in vehicle GPS units. Chairvan drivers are certified in First Aid. Additionally our chair car division provides transportation to and from special events for patients at our nursing homes and assisted living facilities.BLS Ambulance:
Our BLS ambulances are primarily Wheeled Coach Crusaders. BLS Ambulancs are staffed with 2 State-certified EMT-Basics. EMT's are also trained in CPR at the Professional Rescuer Level, AED use, EPI-PEN administration, and some have additional certification as EMT-Intermediates and Paramedic Assistants. Our BLS ambulances feature patient comfort amenities that include: DVD players, Comfort-Plus Mattresses, and advanced Cooling and Heating systems. All units are equipped with Pedi-Mate child seat devices, Phillips FR2 AED's, and remote and in vehicle GPS systems.ALS Ambulance:
Our ALS ambulances are primarily Wheeled Coach Crusaders and Type 3's. ALS Ambulances are staffed with at least 1 State-certified Paramedic, and another EMT/Paramedic Assistant, or Paramedic. Paramedics are trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and CPR at the Professional Rescuer Level. Some have advanced certification in Neonatal Advanced Life Support, Interfacility Specialty Care Transport, and certification as Flight Paramedics. Our ALS ambulances feature patient comfort amenities that include: DVD players, Comfort-Plus Mattresses, and advanced Cooling and Heating systems. All units are equipped with Pedi-Mate child seat devices, Phillips MRX 12-Lead Monitors, Pulse Oximetry, ETCO2 monitoring, IVAC 3 Channel IV Pumps, ParaPac Ventilators, and remote and in vehicle GPS systems.Long Distance Transport:
We can help provide a full range of long-distance medical transport options. This includes traditional ground ambulance transport, medical escort services aboard trains, commercial, and charter aircraft, as well as assisting you with arranging Air Ambulance Transport.Special Events:
PrideSTAR provides medical detail services for special and public events. We can design and quote a solution for your small to large gathering.Education Services:
PrideSTAR EMS also can provide training and education services. Disaster planning, continuing EMT education, first aid, CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and many others.
